Pay Scale

  • All regular assignments pay $145 per day and $72.50 for a half day.
  • All Vacancy assignments pay $155 per day and $77.50 for the half day.
  • Certified long-term assignments pay $180 per day after the fifth day.
  • Nurse Daily Rate: $205
  • If you are working a classified long-term assignment, you will be paid $145 per day.

Red Rover FAQs

    • Confirm your notification settings in your Red Rover profile.
    • Make sure Red Rover is allowed to send notifications on your phone (check device settings).

    1. Visit redroverk12.
    2. Click “Log In” in the top right corner.
    3. Use your Nampa School District email and password.

    New employees will receive a welcome email from Red Rover with login instructions. If you haven’t received it, contact the Substitute Placement office at aryan@nsd131.org.

  • Red Rover is Nampa School District’s absence management system, used by employees to request leave, assign substitutes, and receive job alerts. It simplifies the process of managing staff absences and ensures smooth classroom coverage.

    1. Go to redroverk12 and click “Forgot Password?”
    2. Enter your NSD email address and follow the prompts.
    3. If you do not receive the reset email within 15 minutes, check your spam/junk folder or contact the Substitute Placement office for help.

  • Yes! Download the Red Rover mobile app for quick and easy access to your schedule and substitute jobs:

    Once installed, sign in using your NSD credentials. Enable push notifications to receive job alerts in real time.

  • Here are the qualifications be a substitute teacher in the Nampa School District: 

    • Must be 21 years of age

    • High School diploma or GED

    • Pass a drug screen prior to employment
