Dual Enrollment
NSD Dual Enrollment
Students attending area charter schools, private schools or those who are homeschooled and live within the NSD boundaries are eligible to take up to two academic courses and/or participate in athletic or extracurricular activities through the Nampa School District. Per Idaho Code 33-203, dual enrollment students who wish to participate in athletics, MUST participate at their zoned district school only. Please complete the Dual-Enrollment Interest Form located on this page: NSD Dual Enrollment then NSD will contact you to complete the Dual-Enrollment process. In addition, the IHSAA may require additional paperwork. This will be provided by the AD or representative at your school.
Students cannot participate until the dual enrollment registration is completed and they receive an approval email. After registration is completed and they have been approved, it is up to the student/parent to reach out to the school to schedule their academic courses or obtain sports specific information.
Middle school dual enrollment fees are $75 per student per activity and high school dual enrollment fees are $125 per student per activity. Additional activity fees will be assessed by the school.
Academic or Elective courses are subject to availability. Currently enrolled full-time students have priority for all class placements.
If your student attends a charter school or private school, it is the parent/guardian's responsibility to check with the charter or private school to see if they have an agreement on file with the Nampa School District. If your charter or private school has an agreement on file with the Nampa School District for the applicable school year, the school will be billed for any district course or athletic participation fees that apply. Please check with your charter or private school to determine if they will bill you for participation fees.
Any course or athletic participation fees for homeschooled students and those whose school does not have an agreement on file with the Nampa School District, are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and must be paid before the end of the enrolled trimester. All dual enrollment fees must be paid before the student is eligible to participate in another course or activity.
