Possible 4-Day Student Contact Week - NEA Position

NEA President reported during negotiations on February 1, 2024, that 90% of respondents of NEA survey to members expressed desire for the NEA to publicly support a 4DSCW.

Negotiations still on going for entire next school year.  If Board determines to move to 4DSCW, will need to negotiate structure and length of work day, and Friday NSCW work for teachers.  

PLC and HRS work integral to our District will require a concerted effort to structure time outside of student contact days to ensure this work continues.
