Why Nampa?

The city is located just 400 miles from Portland, and 360 miles from Salt Lake City. The valley boasts an impressive variety of outdoor activities, ranging from hiking, biking, water sports and camping in the summer to skiing, snowboarding and hunting in the cooler months. You’ll also find walking paths, trendy restaurants, shopping and a thriving arts scene that includes art galleries, Broadway shows, the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, the acclaimed Tree Fort Music Festival and more. You also can enjoy visiting local wineries and breweries, the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, petroglyphs at Celebration Park, or a hike to the Jump Creek waterfall.
