Volunteers are needed to serve on a committee to select new curriculum for middle and high school band, choir and orchestra. Applications are due Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
The purpose of this committee is to research curriculum materials for adoption that increase student instruction for band, choir, and orchestra; enhance student experience; and support teaching of essential music standards for the next eight years.
A recommendation on which materials to adopt will be presented to the Board of Trustees by June 13, 2022.
The purpose of the application process is to select a diverse, capable committee made up of educators, parents, and community members that represents the Nampa School District and that can make the best possible adoption choices for our middle school and high school students. The committee will meet three or four times in May 2022.
