Enrollment Open for New Online School

Enroll by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7.

The Nampa School District is excited to offer a new educational option for students in grades K-12, beginning this fall. NOVA (Nampa Online Virtual Academy) is our newest open enrollment school, providing full-time online education in core subjects and select electives (more information about electives will be shared soon). Extracurricular activities will be available through the student’s home school (the school zone that corresponds to your home address).

NOVA was created in response to feedback from parents and students who said they prefer the flexibility provided by full-time online learning. All NOVA students will be issued a district device (either an iPad or laptop) at no charge; a limited number of hotspots also will be available for checkout. As we continue to plan and build the school, we will provide more detailed information via email and through the NSD website.

To enroll your child in NOVA as a full-time student, please complete an open enrollment application, found at https://www.nsd131.org/apps/pages/OpenEnrollment. Applications will be accepted all summer, but priority consideration will be given to those who apply by 5 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020. Once your application has been processed, you will receive information about filling out a new or returning student registration form.

If you have questions about NOVA or the application process, please contact Katy Groesbeck at [email protected].
