Rep. Youngblood Walks for Nampa Schools

Rep. Rick Youngblood was one of 53 Idaho lawmakers who joined this year’s Steps for Schools challenge, sponsored by the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation. Lawmakers who averaged 10,000 steps per day in February won cash for physical education equipment for a school of their choice.

Rep. Youngblood’s $750 donation to the Nampa School District will promote physical activity among students through the purchase of physical activity equipment or in support of walking programs. Individual schools will have an opportunity to apply for a portion of the funds.
