Dear Parents/Guardians;                                                                                          

Due to the recent changes, with our new school start date of Monday, August 24, and starting school on-line, all registrations MUST be done online. We will have computers set up at South Middle School for those who do not have computer access on Thursday, August 6, 1-7pm and Friday, August 7, 8-2pm.  Schedules will not be available to view at this time.

Registration MUST be done online, at least 24 hours before your student’s scheduled device pick up time, in order to receive a device.   If you have not completed the on-line registration, please do so as soon as possible, and be sure to upload your address verification and immunizations.

 

Schedule for device check out:

Monday, August 10, 8th graders with last name A – L from 9am-6pm
Tuesday, August 11, 8th graders with last name M-Z from 9am-6pm
Wednesday, August 12, 7th graders with last name A – L from 9am – 6pm
Thursday, August 13, 7th graders with last name M-Z from 9am-6pm
Thursday, August 20, 6th graders with last name A-L from 9am – 6pm
Friday, August 21, 6th graders with last name M-Z from 9am-6pm
Tuesday & Wednesday, August 18 & 19, new students 9am – 6pm 

 

Once a student has their device, they will need to log in while within the building’s Wi-Fi zone in order to have access to all the required platforms.  All students will be required to change their password.  Parents, please work with your child on brainstorming three possible new passwords that you will bring with you for device pick up. Passwords for students must be ten or more characters (letters, numbers, special characters), more than one word, and include three of the following items: upper case letter, lower case letter, special character, number. The password must be unique, not been used by the student in the previous 12 months and can't include any part of their name, first or last.   Please plan for 20-30 minutes.   

How to complete Registration Online:

Returning students (including 6th graders from the Nampa School district)
o Complete Registration form on 
www.nsd131.org
     •    Click on parents
     •    Click on enrollment
     •    Using the SNAPCODE that was sent you to log in fill out the registration paperwork (if you do not have it please call South Middle School  at 208 468-4740 and we will get it for you)
     •    Address verification: Current utility bill (electric gas, water) or lease. Either upload to registration or scan/take a picture and email to 
[email protected]
     •    Immunizations (7th grade only) please upload


o Pay fees and device insurance (linked through PowerParent account) or call school and we can take payments over the phone or through our online store at 
www.South Middle Store.com.   


o Lunch account/Free and reduced lunch
     •    On the NSD website
     •    Click on parents
     •    Click on online Tools
     •    You can either add money to your student’s account from the “my lunchbox Nampa” link,
     •    or fill out a free/reduced lunch application that is also available under online tools


New students (coming from out of district or out of state)
o Complete Registration form on

     •    Click on parents
     •    Click on enrollment
     •    Click on new student registration
     •    The following items can be uploaded or emailed to

          o    Address verification
          o    Immunizations
          o    Birth Certificate
          o    Legal documentation
