water dayLEARN ABOUT WATER QUALITY IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
May 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., behind Nampa High School along the Greenbelt:

 Learn about our local fish species from the Idaho Fish & Game.
 Watch Nampa High students
snorkel and use kick nets to find fish and macroinvertebrates.
 Learn about storm water
pollution.
 Educate yourself about mosquito abatement with Canyon County Mosquito Abatement.
 Watch the Department of
Environmental Quality as they explain groundwater using models.
 Listen to Deerflat Wildlife Refuge volunteers talk about opportunities at Lake Lowell.
 Eat lunch with us after completing
the course! The first 100 to complete the course eat free.
