Columbia High School ag teacher Tami Frank has been named an “Inspirational Teacher” by a former student who now attends Eastern Oregon University. Samantha Womack, a first-year honors student, said Frank was the only teacher who understood her personality. The award recognizes high school teachers who influence students on their road to higher education.
Frank worked in the agriculture industry for many years before switching gears to become a high school teacher, including work at a dairy farm and with her own consulting firm. She was one of 18 people selected for the Eastern Oregon award.
