The Nampa School District’s Business Professionals of American (BPA) team participated in the State Leadership Conference held March 10-12 at Boise State University.


Eight students from the district team, comprising students from Columbia, Nampa and Skyview high schools, qualified for the National Conference to be held in Orlando, Florida, the second week in May. There were more than 1,300 students from across Idaho competing at this conference.

BPA is part of the district’s CTE (Career & Technical Education) program. Its mission is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic and technological skills. Advisors are Cindy Arnzen, Adrien Coronado, Kaylene Hoyt, Steven Michaelson, Beni Porter, Athea Prillaman and Jen Salois.

Breanna Boutte – Digital Publishing (2nd) and Integrated Office Applications (2nd) – Skyview

Nampa’s BPA program is available to any Nampa School District student who is taking classes in the Business Technology or Information Technology career pathways. The Business Technology career pathways include Administrative Specialist, Applied Accounting, Business Graphics Communications and Marketing Management. The Information Technology career pathways include Computer Help Desk Support and Application Programming Technology.
